Vitamin of the Week: George Strippoli (Dallas)

Vitamin of the Week:...
George Strippoli

Dallas agent George Strippoli loves helping creatives. And that’s not just marketing hyperbole. He’s got more than nine years of experience teaming up with creative talent to help take their careers to the next level. He’s got a great track record!

Check out some of his sage advice as he answers our 7 Quick Questions. And if you’re in Dallas and looking for a great gig, give him a ring!

  1. What most thrills you about your work & the contribution you make? I love hearing about the awesome projects our talent have done and are currently doing. It really excites me when I actually see the result of their work out in the "real world" where so many people get to enjoy it. For instance, each year Ronald McDonald House of Dallas helps put together a HUGE electric train display at one of the largest and most popular malls in the city. For the last two years, they’ve used Vitamin T to provide them with the creatives to help design the window displays for the attraction. It’s just so great to see.
  2. What’s one question a candidate should ask in a job interview? “What are your expectations of me in six months?” I tell every talent going out on an interview to ask this question. Try it out! It’s a terrific way to ensure what's being asked of you is realistic.
  3. What is one word that you would use to describe your team? Squirrel!
  4. If you could have dinner with one person living or dead, who would it be and why? Being a HUGE baseball fan, it would have to be Nolan Ryan. I always loved watching him pitch and the fact that he played the game the right way. I would love to just hear what it was like for him when he was breaking record after record.
  5. What tech innovation has most impacted your life? Cloud technology. I use multiple devices (phone, laptop, tablet, and desktop), so to have all the important documents and other things I need available no matter what device I’m on makes life so much easier.
  6. What do you love about working with creative talent? I have been around creatives for the last nine years and I still get a kick out of hearing how passionate they are about being creative. It's great to see that they’ve embraced their talent and skills and enjoy using them so much.
  7. What’s one important skill every person should have? So much to say here.  But if I had to choose one, it would have to be the desire to embrace new experiences and learn from them. It’s really the only way to grow as both a person and a professional.
